USA -- Under Skirt Activities

USA, is the undisputed reigning monarch of the world. It controls most of the international organizations, some directly, some indirectly. The United States is the epicenter of trade, commerce, finance. It is the epicenter of power! It is also the most dreaded country on earth. Wondering why? Here are three of the several answers.

What exactly happened on 9/11
  • 9/11 is considered as an epoch making incident in whole of America. What we know about 9/11 is that Osama Bin Laden and his accomplices hijacked some passenger planes and crashed them into the world trade centre, bringing it down. What we don’t know is that a controversy follows this incident...
  • The core of the WTC (World Trade Centre) was hard columns tightly grouped columns of solid steel! The structure was so hard, that the planes couldn’t even

The Great ''Quota'' System -- Part 2

Please read the Part-1 here.
As one article was not enough to criticize it enough so we had to come up with one more.

India got independence in 1947 and the constitution was formed by 26th November 1949. No, we haven’t forgotten what I am writing about. Our  point is that when the constitution was adopted, the quota for SC\ST\OBC was adopted for a period of five years. After which it was to be reviewed. However, the term conveniently kept being stretched till now; which is 63 years. With all due respect to our  backward classes’ friends, when you were expected to grow enough to handle your own expenses in 5 years, you haven’t been able to do the same in 63 years?

Also, another loop hole in this system is that if your grandparents belonged from backward class, you will get the certificate! Not considering the fact that you very well could have, and may have grown in the following years. Many people we know, owning blackberries and other high-tech cell phones, big cars, et al have authentic “backward classes’’ certificate.

The Great ''Quota'' System

One of the most harrowing phase of our lives, the college admission process, is finally over for most of us. I think we all unanimously agree that the most annoying element in this process was the quota system. Yes, I know that there are people who got in solely on the bases of quota, which saved them from a very grave crisis.

As we all know, reservation is on the bases of religion, domicile, castes and also for freedom fighters’ descendants. It’s amply evident that today, if you don’t belong to a religion, cast or domicile having a quota, you will not be able to pursue your dream career from your dream college. Unless, you are a scholar who gets sky high marks, which, most of us aren't.

#Dhoble Tries To Do A "Shahenshah"

"Andheri raaton mein sunsaan rahon par
Har zulm mitaane ko ek masiha nikalta hai jise log shahenshah kehate hain"

No, we aren't quoting "Shahenshah", though the above quotes are by him. This time we are quoting someone who is doing something similar, Vasant Dhoble, who has become infamous in the whole of Mumbai as a destroyer of night life. He lurks around in the dark, with a hockey stick in hand and the burdening weight of the reckless party animals on his shoulders.

Like all the super heroes, he has some super powers of his own. He senses the trouble that is going to be created because of calamitous names like Madness, Shiro Lounge, Masala Curry. Dhoble also has a power known as ‘evacuator’! When he enters a night club, the debilitated and petrified malevolent creatures give out a cry “bhaagoo, Dhoble aaya” (Run, Dhoble’s here) and scatter around searching for cover. Some fortunate ones flee, leaving all their belongings behind and others succumb to his justice!

India Pet-Trolled With Hike At Rs.7.50

It happens with people on Twitter in India; whenever they see a figure trending, they think it’s another scam’s cover blowing up. But this time "Rs.7.50" trending was not a scam but a hike announced by the oil companies. The hike was a nationwide narration and this step had to be taken due to the depreciation of the Indian Rupee in the world markets and the increase in VAT for fuel this financial year. The rupee on Monday fell to Rs. 55 to the United States Dollar against Rs. 46 last year. This subjected to a loss of Rs. 72,000 crore on account of rupee depreciation this year for the oil companies.

If the stats are correct, the oil companies, which had in the fiscal ending March 31, 2012 lost Rs. 4,860 crore on petrol sales, are now losing Rs. 6.28 a litre, making petrol valuable for Mumbaikars at Rs. 78.14 per litre. In Kolkata, the increase will be Rs. 7.85 per litre. Delhities would now have to pay Rs.73.14 a litre and Chennai would have to give out Rs.77.05 per litre. Be ready to shell out an extra buck or two if you prefer treat your vehicle with premium refined oil.
